Enrich, Explore, Experience:  Immersion in French-Speaking Cultures

August 19- 23, 2019, 9 am - 12 pm (lunch 12:00-12:30)
Open to students who will be taking French 2 or French 3 in the fall

Are you planning to take French 2 or French 3 in the fall?  Would you like to increase your language skills? Do you need an extra boost to increase your knowledge? Students answering yes to any of these questions will benefit from this one-week preparatory session.  This French-immersion class will reinforce and strengthen all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. This course will be hands on. Be ready to cook, sing, create film using green screens, and play some sports en français. While doing that, you will review and learn grammar concepts such as articles, descriptive and possessive adjectives, prepositions, interrogative words, negation, object pronouns as well as comparatives and superlatives. In addition, you will review the présent, passé composé, imparfait, and future simple tenses of regular and irregular verbs.   Classes will consist of brief group instruction followed by individual grammar work and hands-on projects.

Tuition:  $480.00

All materials and lunch will be provided.
